I'm headed back home at the start of this week, and I couldn't be happier. The scenery around Wenatchee, and access via road to different hikes, bikes, and walks is pretty fantastic, almost as much as the scenery. However, nothing compares to sleeping in your own bed, eating your own food, and being with your own pets. I'm incredibly gracious to my Aunts for letting me crash at their place as well. Well, I took this shot on may 3rd, and knew instantly that this was the photo of the month, and quite possibly my photo of the year. These are two hummingbird eggs, slightly smaller than the size of Tic-Tacs. The nest is made of moss, lichen, twigs, fur needles and saliva. -Forrest

Made it home for the weekend, and after a ton of sitting and driving, was able to get out and enjoy the weather a bit. I'll be very happy to be back for good. The wildflowers were still blooming around 4500 feet, and leftover snow from avalanches and slides this past winter made for some wonderful contrast to the fresh green of the young brush, and the dark grey of the granite rock. -Forrest I googled "White small flower with pinkish streaks" and it told me that this may be a pacific...
